Who needs a technical pattern editor?

Anyone who writes patterns should have a professional technical editor review their patterns.

  • Pattern designers (and aspiring designers) can benefit from having their patterns reviewed before publishing them.
  • Fabric companies offering patterns for local quilt shops to kit and sell can build good will by making sure they are offering accurate patterns.
  • Local quilt shops who design patterns in-house, and those who kit patterns with fabric from their shop, can profit by making sure their customers have top notch information.
  • Book and magazine publishers can always use an extra set of eyes to make sure their instructions are top notch.
